Federal law requires firearms to ship to a licensed FFL dealer in your state — not to your home. At checkout, you tell us which FFL you have chosen, or pick one from our directory. We ship the firearm to them, they run your background check and handle the paperwork (Form 4473), and you pick it up in person. Ammo, optics, accessories, and most non-firearm gear ship directly to your address.

Not necessarily. You can add your dealer’s info at checkout, or place your order first and email us their FFL afterward at sales@kineticarmoryusa.com. If you have not picked a dealer yet, we have a growing directory of partner FFLs you can choose from. Either way, the firearm will not ship until we have a valid FFL on file — so the sooner you send it, the sooner it ships.

Non-firearm orders typically ship within 1–2 business days and arrive in 3–5 business days via standard carriers. Firearms shipped to your FFL usually arrive within 5–7 business days once we receive their license on file. NFA items and suppressors follow ATF processing timelines — we will keep you updated at each stage of approval.

Yes — some states restrict specific calibers, magazine capacities, suppressors, or feature configurations (CA, NY, NJ, MA, IL, HI, and others). Before checking out, review our Shipping Restrictions by State page, and if you are unsure whether an item is legal for you to own, ask us first. We would rather catch it before the order ships than deal with a return.

Unfired firearms in original condition can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund (less return shipping and any restocking fees). Once a firearm has been transferred to you by your FFL it is legally a used firearm and we cannot accept it back — so always inspect it carefully before completing the transfer. Ammo, parts, and consumables are non-returnable for safety reasons. Full details are on our Store Policy page.
