Return Policy
At Kinetic Armory, every product is sold brand-new and inspected before it leaves our facility. Because firearms are federally regulated and transferred through a licensed dealer, our return policy follows industry-standard, ATF-compliant practices. Please read carefully before completing your purchase.
Firearms
All firearm sales are final once the transfer is complete. Federal law treats a firearm as used the moment it is transferred to you at your FFL — even if it has never been fired. For this reason, we cannot accept returns on any firearm after the background check (ATF Form 4473) has been completed and the firearm has been transferred into your possession.
Inspect before you accept. Please thoroughly inspect your firearm at your FFL dealer’s location before completing the transfer paperwork. If you discover any damage or defect at that time, do not accept the transfer — contact us immediately (ideally from the FFL location) and we will determine the best resolution.
Defective firearms after transfer. If a manufacturing defect is discovered only after the transfer is complete, the firearm is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Per industry standard, defective firearms should be sent directly to the manufacturer for repair or replacement, which avoids unnecessary FFL transfer fees. If you prefer, we are happy to help coordinate this process on your behalf.
FFL transfer fees are non-refundable under any circumstance, including refused transfers, failed background checks, or transfers that cannot be completed for any reason.
Ammunition, NFA Items & Components
Due to ATF regulations and safety considerations, ammunition, suppressors and other NFA items, magazines, and reloading components are non-returnable unless they arrive defective or we shipped the wrong item.
Accessories & Other Merchandise
Non-firearm, non-ammunition accessories may be returned within 30 days of delivery if they are new, unused, and in their original packaging. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. A 15% restocking fee may apply to non-defective accessory returns.
How to Start a Return
To request a return, please contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). No returns are accepted without prior authorization. Please include your order number, photos, and a description of the issue. Approved refunds exclude original shipping charges and FFL transfer fees unless the return is the result of our error or a defective product.
